THE GOLDEN/SILVER AGE OF RANGELAND MANAGEMENT

As many or most of you know, the Forest Service lost one of its most experienced and well-known rangeland managers in June 2009 with the unexpected passing of Robert W. (Bob) Hamner.

At the request of several people who knew and worked with Bob over much of his career, we will be holding a gathering in his honor during the 2010 Society for Range Management Annual Meeting in Denver to pay tribute to him and his family, who plan to be in attendance (weather permitting).

Everyone who knew Bob (and Jan) - or would have liked to - is encouraged to attend!
Feel free to bring pictures, stories, or just your presence.
Please bring your favorite hat to raise in a salute.
