63rd Annual Meeting of the Society for Range Management and
50th Annual Meeting of the Weed Science Society of America
Working Landscapes
February 7-11, 2010
Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel
1550 Court Place; Denver, Colorado 80202
Phone: (303) 893-3333

Parking in downtown Denver is always a challenge, but several options are available:

  1. The Sheraton Hotel is providing a discounted $10/day rate without in/out privileges and $21/day with in/out privileges for valet parking. Their garage is currently closed, but a portion of it will be open for the SRM meeting. They have contracted with other parking facilities near the hotel to accommodate our conference attendees. If you have need of in/out privileges the hotel staff have assured us the wait will only be 5-10 minutes to retrieve your vehicle. Valet staff are available at the circle drive in front of the main lobby.

  2. A 1274-space Standard Parking garage is available at 15th and Tremont (1 block from the Sheraton Hotel) for those that prefer to park their own vehicles. The rate is $12 per 24-hour period without in/out privileges. Overnight parking is generally not allowed at this facility, but Standard Parking is allowing it for our meeting. Please inform the security attendant that you will be parking overnight.

  3. Other garages and surface lots are available near the Sheraton Hotel, but prices range from $5-12 during the daylight hours and an additional $5-12 for night parking.

  4. Travelers from outside Denver may also park for free at the following Park-n-Ride locations and utilize the following RTD bus routes to get near the Sheraton Hotel:
    • North: 104th & Washington - Route 7
    • South: Englewood (Floyd & Inca) - Route 12
    • East: Montbello (Peoria & Albrook) - Route 44
    • West: Cold Spring (4th & Union) - Route 16
Further information may be obtained at the RTD website (www.rtd-denver.com).

  5. Street metered parking is also available as a last resort, if you can find a spot.

Thanks and look forward to seeing at the meeting in February!
