Assistant Professor / Range Science
Animal & Range Sciences, NMSU
Tenure track, 9 month full time. Teach undergraduate plant identification and grass taxonomy courses and develop and teach a graduate level course in rangeland ecology. Research activities should be devoted to the area of shrub and invasive species ecology, taxonomy, and/or management. Obtain extramural funding for research. Required Ph.D. (in hand by hire date) in rangeland resources or closely related field with a preferred emphasis in range plant taxonomy, ecology or management. Expected start date is August 2012.
