Come Experience Kentucky Bluegrass Country,
Southern Hospitality, and the Horse Capital of the World

Plan to attend the 2008 Joint SRM/AFGC Meeting in Louisville, Kentucky, Jan 26-31, 2008. The theme is "Building Bridges: Grasslands to Rangelands". Much of the meeting, including the plenary, will focus on building partnerships with agencies, professional organizations, and others in the agricultural and natural resource field.

The conference venue, The Galt House, is the only riverfront hotel in Louisville. Enjoy the benefits of the recently completed $60 million dollar renovations. Half of the rooms are executive suites. See for full details and video tours of the facility. Room reservations at the conference rate will be available in coming weeks.

Tours will include major horse farms near Lexington and the internationally known Kentucky Horse Park, Louisville Slugger Bat Factory and Museum, grazing management by some of the top cow-calf and stocker producers in the southeast, remnant prairie and grassland restoration sites, and Churchhill Downs. Some of you may even want to tour the top Bourbon distilleries in the country and take a spirit home with you.
