Exhibiting at the Vancouver Meeting

Trade Show Items to Print:

Finally a note to those who may be exhibiting at this meeting: We are working closely with customs officials to insure straightforward passage back and forth across the border. Both the US and Canada understand the economic advantage of trade shows and exhibits. To this end, customs will create a “bubble” which enables trade show exhibitors to ship to a common location, pass customs uniformly, and have materials delivered directly to the trade show location at the hotel. Any sales that occur within the trade show are exempt from Canadian taxes as part of the “bubble” (assuming one doesn’t go out on the street and attempt to make sales to non-SRM people which would be deemed in competition with Canadian venders).

Dear Exhibitor,

The Society for Range Management (SRM) cordially invites you to participate in our 59thAnnual Meeting and Trade Show in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, February 12-17, 2006. Yes………,Vancouver, British Columbia during ski season! The meeting and trade show will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel and the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. These outstanding and historic hotels are across the street from each other in downtown Vancouver.

The officers and planning committee of SRM are working diligently to provide the highest quality conference possible for its members and at the same time offer conference exhibitors the ultimate opportunity to network and achieve phenomenal contact with attendees.

The Society for Range Management is a professional and scientific society whose international membership is involved with studying, conserving, managing, and sustaining the varied resources of rangelands, which comprise nearly half of the land in the world. Established in 1948, SRM has more than 4,000 members in 48 countries. Members include ranchers, rangeland managers, scientists, university educators, students, consultants, and conservationists. We anticipate over 1,500 participants at this Vancouver meeting, including many non-members!

This is your chance to network with people who manage rangelands around the world. Many attendees are instrumental in the transfer of range management technology and tools to land managers. If your product or service is new, new to our industry, or on the cutting edge of todays fast moving ranching or natural resource industry, you cannot afford to sideline the 2006 SRM annual meeting. Networking with members of our society is critical in the marketing your products and services to the end user in our Natural Resource and Agricultural marketplace.
