Awards

Every year, the Wyoming Section–Society of Range Management, solicits nominations from folks across Wyoming in an effort to recognize deserving agricultural producers, land managers, researches and volunteers – all with a focus on sustaining and enhancing our rangeland resources. Recipients of these wards all support the mission of the SRM: To promote the professional development and continuing education of members and the public and the stewardship of rangeland resources.

During the 2012 joint meeting of WYSGA, WACD, and WY-SRM in Casper, four awards were presented on behalf of the WY-SRM to the following very deserving recipients.

  1. Award of Merit - Marji Patz
  2. Outstanding Achievement Award - Bert Jellison
  3. Sustained Lifetime Achievement Award - Richard and Claire Dunne
  4. Excellence in Rangeland Management Award - The UCross Ranch
